STEP BY STEP

How to make a QR code for a link

Follow these steps in the ToolFlow app for iPhone or iPad.

  1. Choose the URL template

    Open QR Code Generator in ToolFlow. In Template, choose URL.

  2. Paste your link

    Enter the full link in URL. For this example, use https://apps.apple.com/app/id6760155366. The QR preview updates automatically.

  3. Set the appearance

    In Appearance, leave Size set to Standard and Colors set to Black on White for this example.

  4. Check what the code contains

    Read Payload Preview and make sure the link is correct. Tap the QR image if you want a full-screen view.

  5. Share the image

    Tap Share PNG and choose a destination. You can also use Save to Photos to keep the image in your photo library.

Does this tool scan existing QR codes?

QR Code Generator creates codes from the information you enter. To read an existing code, use ToolFlow’s separate QR and Barcode Scanner.

Can I create a QR code without internet?

Yes. QR generation and PNG export run locally on your device. A person opening a website from the code will still need an internet connection.

Which image size should I choose?

Compact exports a 360 × 360 px PNG, Standard exports 600 × 600 px, and Large exports 900 × 900 px. Choose a larger image for printing or a larger display, and test the final code before distributing it.
